| Wayne Matus - Owner
Wayne Matus has been involved in health, fitness, physical education,
and sports for his entire life. As a high school and college athlete,
Wayne understood the importance of being in top condition to outperform
other athletes. Wayne is a graduate of SUNY Brockport with a bachelor’s
degree in Physical Education. He also has a Master’s degree
in the same field from CUNY Brooklyn College. He is nationally certified
through ACE (American Council on Exercise) as a Personal Trainer
for over 11 years. Wayne started his career as a Health & Physical
Education Teacher and Head Varsity Baseball Coach. He is also a
certified Golf Conditioning Specialist, Longevity Wellness Specialist,
and Flexibility Specialist through GMP fitness.Wayne has provided
personal training services to a wide range of clients from middle
school and high school athletes to training top executives in a
Fortune 250 Company as their In-House Corporate Trainer.
Wayne is constantly increasing his knowledge base through continuing
education courses offered by nationally recognized fitness organizations
and continued readings in various publications. Whether you are
looking to commit to your first exercise program or to get to an
elite level of fitness both Wayne and his staff have the experience
to design the right program for you.
As Owner of Fitness Together Freehold, Wayne strives to help his
clients improve their health and fitness and keep them challenged
