Clients of Fitness Together Freehold come for many reasons. Some come for weight loss, others for motivation, and some for strength, but an overall trend is that our clients come and stick with us because we take the "personal" in personal training to the next level. This is the unique Fitness Together concept.
I am sorry I did not get in touch sooner. I wanted to thank you, Toni, and Nick for everything you all did for me...all of the encouragement, motivation, and pushing to get me to do things I never thought I would ever be able to do.
I feel better, clothes fit me better, and I am much happier overall. Therefore, once again, I would like to thank you and the gang for not giving up on me and I always have you guys in mind on those days when I just don't feel like exercising. I hope to be able to rejoin "Fitness Together" in the future, but for now, please send my sincere appreciation and gratitude to everyone.
I thank you again for all of your help and motivation that allowed me to reach my current levels of strength and endurance and the motivation to push myself to work hard.

I began training at Fitness Together in April of this year.
I was greeted by a very friendly staff and was treated with professionalism.
I began my training with a goal to improve muscle structure and stay fit and
healthy. So far I am achieving those goals and feel so good about it that I have
signed on for another 36 sessions. What I like about it is that even though my
training programs are well planned out, I can suggest to do something else on
another area of my body that I feel needs more focus on and the trainer always
comes up with something satisfying. I hope to continue in my pursuit of health
and looking and feeling great and I know I can't do it without Fitness Together!

Wayne,
Words alone cannot express our gratitude for what you have done for our son
Nick. When he began training at Fitness together, I was a little skeptical
because you did not have a large youth clientele. Well my skepticism soon
turned to belief and confidence in what you could help Nick to accomplish.
At his first assessment he had lost six pounds and showed overall improvement
in his physical condition. He continued to build strength and endurance
which has helped greatly with his involvement in competitive sports.
Most importantly, Nick has gained a greater sense of self esteem and confidence. He
beams when people tell him how wonderful he looks, and is excited to be able
to wear all fashionable clothes his friends are wearing. Nick has learned
the importance of healthy eating and exercise to combat childhood obesity so
he can avoid illnesses that come along with being overweight.
This by far, has been the best money we have ever spent on anything! I
am happy for Nick that he has completed his sessions here (for now!). His
spring sports schedule should keep him busy, but what he takes away from the
Fitness Together program here is that hard work and determination pay off! This
is a life lesson he will carry with him always. I could go on and on, but

Dear Wayne,
I want to first and foremost thank you so much for your services. When I first
arrived at Fitness Together in November, I was quite nervous, but I knew I needed
it. At the time I was very overweight, and was going through a lot, which really
killed my self-esteem. However, after meeting with you for the first time, I
knew that it was going to be a success for me.
Now, almost 4 months into the program, I have found inner confidence and
self-esteem. Fitness Together helped me to include exercise into an already unbalanced
diet and crazy life schedule. But they put me back on track, and have me eating
a much healthier diet, and enjoying going to the studio to work out every Tuesday
and Thursday. The work ethic you and your colleagues put into helping unfortunate
people like me is phenomenal, and I appreciate it. Fitness Together has been
a miracle for my life, and I obviously recommend it for anyone in need of improvement
like me. I'm not at the end of my training yet, and I'm still overweight, but
thanks to Fitness Together, I know that I'm going to improve, lose weight, and
look and feel great. Your exercise program gives you a little bit of a push,
but it's just what you need to get going.
Not only has your program had a positive influence on me, but coming to work
out at Fitness Together has given me the opportunity to meet a lot of caring
people who also come to the personal training studio. A lot of them are there
for what I'm there for, and I commend them for it. Some of the people who I meet
are very nice and are looking good all a result from coming to Fitness Together.
In all Wayne, I have to say thank you so much for everything your program
has done for me and what it will keep doing for me. I would also like to say
thank you to your assistant manager, Toni Scherzo for being so awesome and fun
when I go to work out with her. Thanks Toni! And lastly I want to thank Nicole
who goes to Fitness Together who I sometimes get to see. She's just as cool as
Toni and a great person to be around. Thanks Nicole!
That about sums it up. I can't wait to see what Fitness Together has to offer
to me in the near future. I don't plan on leaving Fitness Together until I feel
it necessary. But I highly doubt that I will leave until I'm at least twenty!
For aspiring people reading this who think they or a loved one need the help,
I highly recommend you try Fitness Together, because it will work wonders for
you.

Working with Wayne over the past eight months has brought purpose and confidence
into my life regarding my physical well-being. Among my initial goals,
I was compelled to become a stronger grandmother able to play with and carry
my grandchildren with greater ease. I am now able to do those things and
more. Family members have truly taken notice of my increased strength! I’ve
also been inspired to eat healthier and pursue other physical activities such
as hiking throughout our beautiful parks in Monmouth County.
Wayne is a wonderful trainer and a fine person. He is not only knowledgeable,
but instinctively knows just how firm, kind and patient to be! I know that
without Wayne there to motivate me, I certainly would not be challenging myself
anywhere near as much. And to top it off, I can always count on some good

When I first started at Fitness Together I was very overweight and lacked
any confidence in myself however I knew that the only way I could lose weight
and gain confidence would be to stick it out with Wayne and Toni. My first test
after 8 weeks in the program was astounding and the results were magnificent
and I knew I had made the right choice, especially after having continued successful
test results progressively throughout my 9 months here.
Now I am a shadow of my former self and I am confident and relaxed and truly
happy for the first time in my life. Wayne and Toni were there with me every
step of the way and continue to guide me and wish me well now that I am training
on my own. I encourage anyone who is on the fence to take part in this program
because the results are astounding…Just look at me, when I started I was
unhealthy, overweight, and suffered from low self esteem, low confidence, and
was very shy around the opposite sex and now I am the fittest I have ever been
in my life, I have lost a substantial amount of weight, and I have a girlfriend.
This isn’t some miracle overnight cure though, you have to work your butt
off, put in the hours, stick to some sort of a diet, and trust your trainers.

I came to Fitness Together Freehold looking for help in my health and fitness
goals. As a doctor I know the value of being healthy and fit but with 4 children
I just couldn't find the time to workout and stay motivated. I wanted to lose
weight and tone my muscles but didn't know how I could do that with a busy schedule
and without the crowds and tons of people around watching my every move. I am
not the type of person that likes to be stared at when working out.

In the summer of 2005, I was turning 40 and had not worked out consistently
over the previous years. I used to play tennis once a week, jump on the elliptical
1-2 times a week. A half hour into a game of singles tennis, I was exhausted
and my game would wither away.
I needed to build endurance, resistance and improve my cardiovascular fitness.
I was not motivated 100% and I was also intimidated by weight training. At this
point, I was fortunate to have become acquainted with Wayne Matus.

I have, for some time, wanted to thank you for training me over the past 6
months. Although I'll never like "working out", you have made the hours
interesting and fun by distracting me from the "reps" and my inclination
to obsess over how tired I feel by 7:00 PM after an intense work day. I'm now
capable of doing exercises that I could not have dreamed of, pressing more weight,
performing more reps and actually feeling confident with machines that were initially
intimidating. You continue to be sensitive to my limitations in using neck, knees
and ankles. I know that you have to devise creative programs for me but you always
figure out how to build capacity without injury. The fact is that although I
struggle to get through each session, wondering if I can improve over the last
time, I have never been incapacitated or distracted by pain or stiffness the
next day.
People who haven't seen me in months have volunteered that I have lost weight
and look better. There is a definite difference in the way my clothes fit, my
feeling of well being, and my cardiac fitness. My ankles and knees, particularly
on the bad or changing weather days are significantly less bothersome and I find
that I'm able to walk longer distances free of incapacitating pain.
It was obvious that I needed a fitness program. My doctors had been admonishing
me for years to get started. You have been a good coach, always considerate but
it's very obvious that I improve every week. I could never have done this without
you.

I have mostly considered myself to be an average, middle-aged woman but over
the years I have gained a few more pounds then I would like to admit. I wanted
to take some action and improve my physical well-being and as well as my appearance,
